Hatha Yoga is physical. In the traditional Yoga poses physical awareness gets sharpened and stuck energy starts to flow. By holding a Yoga pose longer, physical strength builds up and the mind learns to concentrate and to focus. Whether in fluid sequences or static positions, the breath is the most important element of hatha Yoga. The breath is the intersection of perception, body, mind and emotions. Through the breath the metabolism gets really going and all physical systems get stimulated. Each class ends with a deep relaxation. The body can rejuvenate, process and find inner balance. During and after a Yoga class you feel centered, relaxed and open.
